Debt is one of the biggest problems facing our country. From a government standpoint to individual cases, debt is a major financial issue that comes with many detrimental effects. Unfortunately, the difficult economic times have cost people jobs and forced them to resort to using credit and other means to pay bills, inadvertently digging themselves a deeper hole. Fortunately, there are some ways to stop the hemorrhaging and avoid unneccessary future debt. Below are a couple of the most common methods used to avoid wasteful debt.

Use Payday Advance Services

Using payday advance services like Pay Day One is a practical way to avoid those nagging late fees that come with paying a bill past its due date. The late fees associated with utilities and credit card payments can easily get into the hundreds of dollars on a monthly basis. Additionally, there are instances when these late fees put an account into the negative, triggering an overdraft fee as well. Payday advance services remedy this issue by using the money from your paycheck before payday to help cover expenses and avoid wasteful fees.

Avoid Credit Card Use

Credit card use is one of the aspects that got our country collectively into such a debt crisis. People began using their credit cards to cover expenses they could not afford, piling on thousands of dollars in debt over the course of a few months. Unfortunately, when they exhausted their credit limit, they were left with a mound of debt and additional monthly payments. By avoiding the use of credit cards, this problem can be avoided. While credit might supply a resolution for a bill at one point, it will come back to haunt you months down the road.

Most failed relationships turn on failed communication. It is a little misleading, because every great relationship turns on great communication! Clearly expressing yourself to a spouse is absolutely essential in making a relationship work.

In the end, people want two things: to be understood, and accepted. Communication plays a big part in both. If a person does not clearly communicate how they feel about something, they can be misunderstood, and then both parties are frustrated and displeased. If Jack tells Jill he doesn’t want to go up the hill because he’s tired when it’s really that he doesn’t like fetching water, Jill will think it’s just a one-time thing and he’ll be happy to go next time. Her requests to go up the hill will start to annoy Jack and it will form a crack in their relationship.

Once a person has communicated clearly, they can be accepted. Whether or not a couple agrees on everything (and they don’t) they can respect their differences, iron out the ones that necessitate totaly unity, and have deeper love for each other. For example, once Jack tells Jill he’s tired of fetching water and would prefer to go out to dinner and feed the ducks afterwards, Jill can say that, while she enjoys going up the hill, she’d be happy to do dinner and duckfeeding with Jack. Jill can be happy that Jack was open and honest with her, and Jack is happy that Jill respects his desires and wants to fulfill them. The couple has formed a stronger relationship.
